Meet the Farris Firm
After handling thousands of misdemeanor and felony criminal cases at other firms in southern California, Charles and his wife Beatrice launched Farris Law Firm in 2024 to provide a local alternative for clients seeking criminal defense representation. Farris Law Firm focuses on educating clients about the system and providing best-in-class legal support for their cases, while avoiding scare tactics and high-pressure sales methods.
The team prefers to take on a limited number of active cases at any one time so that they can focus more on each individual case – a striking difference to typical high-volume firms. While some firms take on cases hundreds of miles away, with no experience or history in that particular jurisdiction, Farris Law Firm is dedicated to a more local practice in Orange County and Los Angeles.
By maintaining excellent relationships with judges, prosecutors, and court staff, Farris Law Firm is able to help clients navigate the perils of the criminal justice system without so-called “attack dog” tactics that often result in disadvantages for the client.
Charles is a member of the Orange County Bar Association (OCBA), Los Angeles County Bar Association (LACBA) and the San Fernando Valley Bar Association (SFVBA). He is a panel member at the SFVBA, where he accepts referral cases from the community, and also does contract work for Los Angeles County as part of their Independent Defense Counsel Office program.
